Eligibility:
Latinx student currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at the time of application to the program. Freshmen and sophomores are preferred. Upperclassmen and graduates will also be considered. Demonstrate strong academic potential with a minimum overall B average (or better). Must be able to attend the full program. Applicants from outside of the New York City / tri-state area must secure their own local housing if accepted to the program.

UC Irvine School of Law Pre-Law Outreach Program (“POP”)

Eligibility:
Full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university (this includes a community college). You do not plan to submit any applications to law school until Fall 2021 or later. You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. You are from a disadvantaged background, which may include one or more of the following factors (you only need to meet one of these requirements): Family income within 200% of the federal poverty guidelines, First-generation college student, Limited familial exposure to post-college education and career opportunities, English is not the primary language in the home of origin, Overcoming educational hardships and challenges. You must attend all six Saturday sessions of POP 2020, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. each day: June 13, 20, and 27; July 11, 18, and 25.

Immigrants Rising Fellowship

Eligibility:
Applicants must (1) be foreign-born, (2) demonstrate financial need, (3) not have permanent residency or citizenship in the U.S. (4) currently attend college, (5) intend to enroll in law school Fall 2021, (6) have at least a 3.0 GPA, (6) have graduated from a California high school OR will graduate from a California university.

The Coelho Center Law Fellowship Program

Eligibility:
Students with disabilities interested in pursuing law school. Students who identify as D/deaf, hard-of-hearing and/or disabled are strongly encouraged to apply. Students must be currently enrolled in a community college, college, or university, or be recent graduates.

UCLA Law Fellows - Central Valley Program

Term: Two full-day Saturday Academies in April and June

Capital Fellows Program
Program Deadline:
Term: 10-11 months
Eligibility:
(1) Must have completed a bachelor's degree by September 1st of the fellowship year, (2) have either a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher or a GPA of 2.5 or higher in the last 60 (semester) or 90 (quarter) units, (3) be 20 years of age or older by Sept. 1 of the fellowship year, (4) Non-U.S. citizens must provide proof of appropriate immigration status, (5) Applicants must be prepared for full-time employment, Monday - Friday.

University of Houston Law Center (UHLC) LSAC Prelaw Undergraduate Scholars (PLUS) Program

Eligibility:
To be considered for the program, students must (1) be first-generation college students, low income, or members of groups underrepresented in the legal profession, (2) hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and must be in their first two years of college with at least two years left to graduate. (Students attending community college must show proof of college continuance by providing a copy of the acceptance letter from the 4- year institution they will be attending in the Fall).

UC Davis King Hall Outreach Program (KHOP)
Program Deadline: TBA; Usually Opens in February
Term: Summer
Eligibility:
Currently attend, or recently transferred to, a four-year college with one or two years before graduation OR have graduated from a four-year institution within the past 12 months. Be considered a first-generation college student OR come from an economically underserved community or background. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher as calculated on a 4.33 scale. Be able to attend all KHOP Summer Session meetings

PPIA Junior Summer Institute

Eligibility:
Applicants must (1) be in their third year of their undergraduate degree and not plan to graduate until the next academic year, (2) be committed to pursuing a Master’s Degree in public policy and/or international affairs at one of the PPIA Consortium graduate schools, (3) demonstrate an interest in pursuing a professional career associated with public service. If you apply to the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy program, you have the option of applying as a "law fellow" and receive a free LSAT prep course.
