About the LPLA Undergraduate Law Journal    

Mission

​

The mission of the LPLA Latinx Undergraduate Law Journal is to provide scholarly analysis by UCLA Latinx undergraduates on a range of legal and/or policy issues and/or subjects relevant today. This law journal hopes to contribute new perspectives on a range of subjects that initiates a long-lasting critical analysis and engagement of law/policy for UCLA Latinx undergraduates aspiring in the legal field.

Goals

​

  1. Provide Latinx undergraduates with the opportunity to publish scholarly work

  2. Provide the resources and support needed for Latinx undergraduates to successfully publish their work

  3. Improve the critical analysis, writing, and social science skills of writers and editors contributing to the law journal 

  4. Provide critical analysis of legal issues 

  5. Publish a collection of Latinx undergraduate work that is critical, challenging, and academic. 

  6. Supporting Latinx undergraduates to produce academic, scholarly, critical analysis or essay about any legal/policy subject or social issue they are interested in.
